neighbors wood burner
Can I force a neighbor to carry enough insurance to cover my home and property if his wood-burning stove is within 30 ft. of my attic vent, and is a possible hazard to my home?

No... but if there is a lot smoke going into your attic you may be able to argue that the stove is a nuisance.
In any event, I imagine that a court will not want to get involved in this dispute unless some damage actually occurs. Even if you do go to court, by the way, I doubt you will be able to get your neighbor to pay your insurance.
