Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
I have just gotten paid for my water damage claim for my business. I fell that i was NOT paid what i was entitled to. I want to sue for more money and wanted to know what steps need to be taken and what kind of lawyer do i need to hire. The amount that they valued my items are nothing compared to what they are worth. The replacement value are worth 100 times more than what they paid me.

If you have already signed a waiver/settlement agreement/release, with the insurer you may have most likely signed away your right to pursue further legal action.
Look at the paper work that you signed or have an attorney review it for you.
