Legal Question in Insurance Law in Illinois
i am in the state of illinois. My father just passed with a will but he did not mention any insurance policy. Going through is important documents we discovered a small policy of about $5000, but there is not name beneficiary. My father and mother have been divorce for many years. Who is the benefactor in this situation and who determines?

The proceeds witll go to the estate and be disbursed according to the intestate laws in Illinois.
