Do I still own the land and minerals that my ancestors owned in the 1800's with a land patent ?

That requires a title search. There is no way for lawguru attorneys to know those results without doing the search. Contact a real estate attorney near you if you really want to know. Chances are that those rights were sold along with the property years ago unless this is a piece of realty that has remained unsold in your family all that time.
