Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois
Would I be able to use legal process to have jointly-created tangible property returned to me or confirmed to be destroyed? A verbal contract for the creation of the tangible property was entered into with valuable consideration on both sides.

You can certainly request that the court enter an order for the relief you seek. Whether that relief is granted is up to the judge.

Jointly created property is normally jointly and severally owned. Verbal contracts are hard to prove. Your question is too vague ("tangible property" and "valuable consideration" ) to allow a decent response. Resubmit with more information or better yet, pay an Illinois lawyer for a consultation.
