Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois
I recorded a few tracks for a composer in a studio about 15 years ago. Recently someone advised me that there has been a new release of this composer's works, including the tracks - four to be exact - of my singing from that original session. I was never informed of this release. Is this okay?

As a Franchise Attorney I can only observe that it depends on the terms of any documents you signed, including a formal release to use your singing. These, as well as the surrounding facts and circumstances need to be evaluated. This is not a simple bulletin-board question. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
