Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois

I work for a public library and would like to use enlarged photocopies of 6 illustrations on a Library bulletin board from a 1954 Golden Book I purchased at an antique fair. I want to use photocopies because the book is mine personally, and I don't want to destroy it for the bulletin board. there are over 80 illustrations in the book. I will note the title and copyright info along with the illustrator & author on the bulletin board. The library will not profit in any way from the bulletin board--it's just celebrating our back to school with books theme. We will not use any text from the book. The bulletin board will be up for one month, and then the photocopies will be destroyed. Is this considered "fair use"? The complete title and record information is "The Golden Picture Book of School Days" by Kathryn Jackson, Pictures by Violet LaMont. Copyright 1954 by Simon and Schulster, New York
