Legal Question in International Law in Illinois
International calls to our local police?
Is it possible/legal for international calls to be made to our local police?
For example, let's say I install a security monitoring device in my house, but the people that are monitoring my house are in another country. Let's say a thief enters my house, and a signal is sent to the monitoring service, which is located in another country . Is it possible/legal for this monitoring center to directly place a call to my local police?
Thanks

Of course it is possible and legal; this is already happening.
