Legal Question in International Law in Illinois
lost baggage
I filed a lost luggage claim with Iberia
Airlines (via American) for $2158 US,
plus $568 US for emergency
replacement belongings (since I was
in Europe for 11 days and had no
clothes). Iberia said that they would
reimburse me for replacements
during my stay. They reimbursed me
$1070. 56 US total. Do I have any
recourse to fight this? Iberia wants
me to write to them about the
discrepancy. I fear that they will not
respond or explain. Please advise.
Thanks for much.
Aren't I entitled to the max $1500
and $568

Re: lost baggage
Write them and see what happens. Send it certified mail return receipt requested so you have proof they got it.
