Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Illinois

I live in Illinois. I just found out that I may be the father of a 19 year old girl, by a woman I dated briefly 20 years ago. Can I be liable for child support at this point? Illinois seems to say that child support ends at 18 years old. New York law seems to say 21 years old. If I am liable for support, would it be for 2 years until the child turns 21 years old; or would I be liable for 21 years of support?

You are leaving out a lot of relevant information. Furthermore, you fail to state what New York law has to do with this or why it is relevant. If you want information about New York law you should contact a New York attorney. You also fail to state how you came about this information. I am guessing that a child support enforcement agency in New York has just caught up with you and is trying to collect past due support. That information has a whole lot of bearing on how your question is answered.
