Bait & Switch Bonus Documents
I was terminated from my job in the 11th month of the fiscal year. According to the bonus plan I was given by upper management, I was entitled to my bonus b/c I had been in the position for the required period of time. There was no condition of employment in the document that I received. During a hearing, the company produced a different document that did have a condition of employment. I argued that the documents I had were valid and were given to me during the course of my employment as the manager of their bonus plan. I've even found case law on point. Do I have a case to sue for my bonus?

It is impossible to answer your question w/out a review of the relevant (i.e., competing) documents & a discussion w/you as to what occurred.
More fundamentally, whether you retain a lawyer or not will depend on the amount of bonus at issue. If it is only a couple thousand dollars, it is unlikely that the amount would justify the legal fees.
