Check witholding
I was employed at a doctors office at the end of april and worked there for two weeks and was let go. I did not sign any payroll or tax papers and when I was let go I asked them to send a copy of tax papers to my home address which they did. I sent my tax papers back to them and still have not received a check and that was over a month ago. Legally they are entitled to pay me for my two weeks of work correct? even though I was only employed there for two weeks and did not sign papers? Thanks

Yes. You must get paid for the hours you worked. Contact the employer and advise that they must pay � and demand that the check be forwarded to you at your home address. If that does not work contact the Dept. of Labor, they should be able to shake the $$ out of the employer. Last thing is try to retain an attoreny for a suit.
