i have committed a crime when i was younger im 32 now the crime was theft over $300 pleaded down to a class c misdermeaner i live in il will this stop me from becoming a police officer because im pursuing this career.

The incident must be disclosed on your application. I doubt if this is going to be a problem if you were "younger" when this happened and learned your lesson.
