Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Education payback to your employer

Hello - I signed an agreement that I would reimburse my company for any classes taken within a 12 month period if I were to leave the company/get terminated. I am wondering if this agreement would be held up in court? I have been with my company 2 1/2 years and have been having ongoing conflicts with my supervisor who like to ''pick'' on certain employees, therefore I am unsure I can continue to employment due to my severe unhappiness. Any help, suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Re: Education payback to your employer

A written contract/agreement would hold up - however, there may be an issue if you were forced to take the classes or lose your job. More info would be needed.
