Can an employer disclose the failing of a drug test to unemployment in Illinois?

I am guessing that your employer has a "drug free workplace" policy, and you were fired for failing the drug test. If this is the case, and you filed for unemployment, then yes, this would be the employer's defense that you were fired for cause.
