Employer neglect causing hardship to employee

Can I sue my employer for neglecting to fill out paperwork

i need to file for an accident not related to my job. I needed a letter so I could get money from my deferred compensation account/funded by me soley, and I need a form letter filled out for insurance company for loss of wages.

The lack of these two documents have caused me servere monetary hardship.

What is your employer's reason for not filling out the paperwork - you could start with an attorneys letter which usually stirs things up enough to get things done.
