Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I have an employment agreement to work at one-half salary until the new business I created is able to repay start up costs (his investment), and then at that time, I collect my due remainder. However, now that the business is created (by me) and that it is ready to begin to produce income, the CEO wants to fire me (for no reason). If he were to fire me, he believes that he does not have to pay my owed salary money (125,000+). What would my rights to my money?

It would depend on what your agreement was, and I sure hope you got something in writing, otherwise you are going to have a long and ugly "he said/she said" lawsuit.
