Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
Favoritism in the Work Place
My employer is training someone for a different position. I asked her when I first started to train me for that position. I have senority over the other employee. What should I do?

Re: Favoritism in the Work Place
Hello. In my opinion, you should be the employee being trained. I would write the employer a letter and politely request that you be trained for the position instead and point out
that you have seniority and emphasize that with your experience the employer will benefit more by you having that position. Will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
