Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I am a field sales representative for a fortune 500 company. If I am asked by my manager to come into the regional office to meet with the regional sales director, HR and my manager to discuss my work activity, do I have the right to record the conversation if I ask the permission of all present parties? Are they obligated to oblige my request? What if they deny the request?

You can only record conversations with the consent of all individuals who will be recorded. I would recommend asking first, and if they consent, recording their consent. There is no obligation to consent. If they do not wish to be recorded you could either take notes, or refuse to participate, which might of course result in losing your job.
