Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I have been an independant contractor for a major corporation for over 25 years. Although I was hired to complete one job function, I also complete the same duties as salaried employees that receive medical and retirement benefits. Am I entitled to these same benefits considering that I was never hired as a salaried employee? Even though I complete the same duties as the salaried employees?
