Non-Compete

I have signed a non- compete with an employer and after starting the job the responsibilities of the job changed where if this was presented upon the interview and job acceptance period I would have not accepted the position with signing a non-compete.

I have resigned my position after approximately 90 days. The Manager is now keeping from seeking a career in the industry I have spent my last 28 years in. What advice can you provide or direction to take?
