Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Not paid from my previous employer

My employer terminated me from job for giving him feedback on the Warehouse activities and how to improve our performance. I didn't get paid for one whole month. During this month I was suspended for couple days for the same reason stated above. Two days ago I received check for only 90$, which was not a check showing how much did I work and how much was I deducted for taxes and insurance. I calculated that I was supposed to receive 1350$. I have been contacting HR resources and they have been avoiding me for the last three and a half weeks. I have witnesses that I did work and the reason I was suspended was not my fault.

Often an attorney's letter can help in a situation like this if you are being avoided. That is about all I can suggest. otherwise, you can sue them.
