Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
i was given position a my place of employment,i was told i would receive a 50 cent pay raise,well instead of put it toward my pay rate,he decide to put under some miscellanous box.when ask why he did that when he told me he would put it under my pay rate.he says because he can take it back,if he feel like it

Not sure what these boxes are without seeing them, but 1) you did not ask a question, so I can only guess what you want to know, and 2) there are circumstances where employers can reduce pay.
