Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I recently learned that the owner of the place where I work is not willing to pay any overtime. S, if I end up working 41.5 hours in one week, I will still only get paid for 40 hours. Is this even legal?

Most likely it is not legal. You may need to contact an attorney in your area, or the Illinois Department of Labor.
