Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I'm a retired member of the IBEW ,I recieve a pension based on five years of service . I worked twenty five years in the trade but had "breaks in service ,which vacated my benefits. Is there

anyway to reinstate these years of service?

Depends on the terms of your union membership and the plan. I doubt it, or you would have been told about it when you retired.
