Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
suspended
I am being suspended from wok
because after 7 years on the job my
company want to sighn a
noncompete agreement which I
think is overly braod in regards
geographical scope and length of
time. The text that was used
somewhat limit me from working in
the industry i love and only know. I
am being suspended without pay
until it is sighned. This is an at will
firm, is it legal, and how long can
they suspend me without pay? Can
they deny me unemployment?
