Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I was susspened from work because I am dating a girl much younger then me but her parents are upset and now causing me problems at work. There was an investigation over a year ago that I was having an inapropriate realationship with a student at the high school that I work at. There was an investigation and the case was closed because it was found to be unfounded. Now that I am dating a girl of age her parents want to cause me problems. My work put me on a week suspension with pay but they are doing their own investigation right now. What can I do if they release me from work because of this?
