Vacation Accrual
I have been working for a company since 11/07. I had a baby earlier this year (2009) and took 3 months of unpaid maternity leave. I understand why I didn't accrue vacation during that time, but they have changed my anniversary date to 2/08, three months after my true anniversary date so that I cannot take any vacation until next year. Can they change my anniversary date, when technically I still worked for the company?

You should consult your employee handbook.
Review the handbook and look to see if the issue is addressed.
This is most likely an HR issue.
