Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I work full time for a 24hr business, I recently decided to return to college, I was told that i am the only one trained to cover for 3 supervisors that work the night & weekend shifts. I was told by my supervisor & manager by the time we train someone that employee is no longer with the company, or will say I wasn't trained to do that. I was also told that I must work the holidays, & am only allowed to request one day as unavailable a year. I have worked them in the past but when i ask to have holiday, it ends up in a fight that i always lose. What can i can do???
