work
if i work 43 hours a week every week and one of those days was a vacation day can they pay you straight time for that week or do they have to pay you the over time that you should recieve for that week.

Unfortunately for you - generally work is work - not vacation. If I understand your question you were paid for 43 hours - but only worker 35. If that is the case I seriously dobt that you could become entitled to OT for that work week.

No, you cannot get overtime.
