Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I work for a small veterinary hospital with 5 - 7 employees. During the term of my employment, I have been harassed for my age and perceived slowness related to age. I have been told that I do not have the ability to balance the cash drawer even though I have years of experience in banking handling up to $500,000 in cash and maintaining vault balances. While other employees are allowed to bring lunch and eat at work and have cell phones available, I am not. I feel there are prejudices from the Dr/owner in place that others do not. It has become untenable. Given the small size of the office do I have any recourse legally?

You may but what's your goal? Talk to a labor and employment attorney because your goal will help define recourse options.
