Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
30 Day Advance Notice
My lease doesn't state that I'm required to give a 30 day advanced notice (or any notice at all) for not renewing a lease. I've given 3 weeks notice via e-mail. Can my landlord keep my $2250 deposit because of this? They are upset because they feel it is too short of notice to re-rent. I feel terrible, but am I legally bound?

If your lease is on a monthly basis, yes.
