Check your lease. If you never had this problem before, you should be able to give notice and eventually get her evicted if she doesn't clean up her act. If you live in a community that has a landlord-tenant ordinance, you should check that. You can also think about contacting your local health/building department(s), and in an extreme case they may just order the apartment vacated. At the same time, beware of scam artists; this could be the beginning of her stopping the payment of rent and then blaming you. Nip it in the bed-bud-bug.....
