Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Apartment complex going condo

I live and work at an apartment complex. Just found out today we are going condo starting in March. I just signed a new lease Dec 1, 2004 through Dec 1, 2005. I have been told, once my unit is sold, I must move in 30 days regardless of my lease. I am also on Social Security Disability, can only work part time, so as you can see, this will greatly effect my life, as I will also be losing my job. Can you please tell me if this is accurate information or if they have to let me finish out my lease. Thank you very much for any help you may provide.
