appealing a small claims case in IL
A judgement was ordered aganlst me can I appeal the case? I live in IL.

You can do a motion to vacate the judgment if it has been less than 30 days since the judgment was entered (assuming it was a default judgment). If it has been more than 30 days since a default judgment has been entered, it is much harder to successfully do so and you should contact an attorney about the likelihood of success (more facts are needed).
If there was a trial and it is not a default, you typically have 30 days from that date to appeal it, but again you should contact an attorney to find out the likelihood of success.
