Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Do I need an attorney or a legal eviction notice to remove my girlfriend from my home? She currently has been living with me part time due to we have a child together. The child is one years old and currently lives with me. We have now departed ways and she is refusing to leave even when I gave her a 30 day notice. Does she have the right to remain in my home? She does not have a lease and has never paid any of the bills. Outside of obtaining an attorney for custody of my child would I need an attorney to get her out of the house?

Do you absolutely need an attorney for an eviction? No. But if she gets one, what then? And if you don't know what to do in court, some judges will not 'help' you make your case. But you've apparently got some other issues, because you may wind up owing child support that would include living expenses for the child. See an attorney. Plus, who knows if your notice was proper.
