my boyfriend is getting evicted from his house by the landlord for not paying rent and i also live there with my 8 month old baby. i am not on the lease. can they just throw me and my baby out in the cold or is there some place i can go for help thanks janice scared in illinois

No, they cannot just throw you out. They need to go to Court and get an Order of Possession against you. It does not matter that you are not on the lease. Contact our office if you would like to discuss your situation further: 773-684-5730.
