Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
Because of some complaints about dogs in the apartment complex where I live, the landlord is threatening to make us all get rid of our dogs. I have a signed addendum to my lease stating that I am allowed to have my dog, and I keep up my end of it. Is this legal?

If you are complying with the terms of your lease, your landlord cannot unilaterally change those terms. I would need to review the specific terms of the lease to give a true opinion as to whether the landlord could make this change.
