daughter not on mortgage, brings boyfriend to live in my house.She has no lease with me and has only assisted sporadically and dismally to offset expenses related to house.he has lived with her for 2 years and has become physically abusive to me. Does he have a legal right to residency here?

You allowed him in, for better or for worse..... You must give him legal notice and if need be have him evicted. If you are a victim of domestic abuse, you can call the police or one of many domestic abuse hotlines, but if for your protection you must move out, your safety is what matters. An attorney can help with the eviction.
