about a dispoist and stuff store in a building

i moved out of a house and give the landlord the 30 days notice and he siad he would give my dispoist back but wont answer my calls and i had somethings store in his building and he said they got stolen and he wouldnt make a police report and he wasnt worry about it. and now he wont give me my money back for the stuff or the dispoist is he alieable for them and the money

He must give your deposit back within 45 days. If he claims damages, he must notify you in writing within 30 days with receipts for repairs he claims. You should make a report about the stolen items to the police yourself.
