Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
Hello, i have a dispute situation on payment. i, unfortunately have been living in a hotel for 8 months. i am being threatened to be locked out and kicked out. as far as i;m concerned, i am considered a tenant. if the hotel want's to proceed, they have to give a 30 day notice if want to evict. please advise

If you have NO other permanent residence and pay periodically (weekly, monthly) then you may be a tenant. Otherwise, you may be a guest. If you are a tenant, eviction is required.
