Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
I am trying to get my ex girlfriend to move out of my house but she refuses! She has lived with me for a year and 4 months... She hasn't paid any rent nor is she on the lease... Can I change the locks?

Technically she is a subtenant or yours entitled to due process but if she is contributing nothing to rent, utilities, upkeep....you may be able to give her short notice. Without more it's impossible to determine what her legal relationship is.
