Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I am a landlord and I attended a motion just a couple of weeks ago. Now I was informed there's going to be second hearing after my tenant filed for second motion. The court order in the first motion however said: Defendant's motion to stay eviction is denied, and below it is circled: No further stays will be allowed. On a basis of that order I thought next motion would not happen but yet I see a court date at court's files.

This motion would have to be for something new or different, but the point is that motions are filed and set up with clerks. They can't decide the law. So when you say you thought the next motion would not "happen", the only thing that a judge will not allow again, is a further stay. If you have an attorney handling this, talk to him/her. If not, get one. Your biggest problem seems to be in selecting tenants - this one sounds like he or she knows his way around eviction court.which means there have been prior's.
