Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
I am a landlord in chicago. I have tenants who have done extensive damage to my apartment, and refuse to pay rent. I have served the five day notice. The furnace broke down today, and they are demanding that I repair it. What are my options?

Fix the furnace; continue with the eviction. You will need heat regardless as winter approaches.
