Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
Can a landlord serve you with an eviction notice stating that they want you to "move due to illegal activities conducted out of your home"? But there is no illegal activities taking place nor does the landlord have ANY documentation of illegal activities taking place in the residence.

yes - he can serve you with such a notice. If he proceeds to file a forcible entry and detainer action you can force him to prove his claim, but at this point why do you want to stay. you are in a renter's market.
