By law if i don't pay my rent how many days do i have before i have to vacate the unit

Start by looking at your lease, probably the "default" section. It may say something like "5 days after notice"...but whatever, your landlord normally has to give you notice. By statute only 5 days is needed. Then, if you don't voluntarily move, the landlord has to file an eviction lawsuit, and this could take 30-60 days, or more.
