Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I live in a house owned by the estate. Should I be responsible for paying taxes and insurance or the estate pay them??

The answer is I don't know. If there was a will, it could state the terms and conditions INCLUDING whether it was supposed to be yours outright, in which case yes you would be responsible!!! If there was NO will, it may depend on whether you are the only heir or whether there were others who also could occupy the house. Have an attorney look see.
