Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

I live in Illinois. I have a 24 year old son who is employed making about $1,500 clear a month. He owns no car. The only bills he has is Netflix, meds (about $50.00 a month) co-pay on doctor visits (which he refuses to pay) his cell phone and cigarettes. We give him rides to work and pick him up from work when he does not have a ride. We want him to pay $200.00 a month to help with increased expenses for food, electric, water, etc. He refuses to pay. Along with this $200.00 a month, I also do his laundry for him. He recently moved back last December. He was away for about 14 months in drug rehab. He is no longer doing drugs. :) However, we had a written agreement. In that written agreement, it states "After employment has been secured and for the duration of the agreement, he is to pay rent. Amount is to be decided by parents. If rent is not paid on the date(s) agreed upon, Chris will automatically be removed from the house and Chris will no longer be allowed to live with us. When rent is due, will depend when he gets paid and how much. It might be due every week, every two weeks or once a month. That is to be determined upon his pay schedule. " We have been trying to collect rent from him for several months. He said he is saving his money when, in fact, he did save some money but savings is drained and no money is saved. How can we legally evict him from the premises. We really do not want to but he refuses to pay rent or help out in any way at home. He goes to work, comes home, eats, hangs out and sleeps. He does very minimal chores. Thanks

He is an adult. You must comply with the Illinois forcible entry and detainer act, which assumes a month-to-month tenancy if no specific term is set and rent is supposed to be paid monthly. And you would have to serve notice, and then file for eviction. This could be really messy.
