Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

the our I lrent is being foreclosed on...it's in the hands of the bank. Do I have to continue paying my Landlord rent when they don't own the house?

Hi. Once the foreclosure sale is over and it is deeded back to the lender, you will be paying rent to the lender. You should receive notice from the lender. Until the foreclosure sale, you are legally required to continue paying rent to the owner/landlord.
