Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
moved before the eviction was served
what happens in court if i already moved but was just served with a summons - forcible entry form? I still owe a balance on the rent, will I have to pay all of it on the court date?

Well, assuming you do owe the rent and you don't have a defense, a judgment would get entered in a dollar amount. Then it's up to you whether or not you want to pay it. If you don't then the LL would have to try and collect from you via wage deduction or attaching any property you own. Why don't you pay it off before court to avoid a judgment or enter a payment plan in court to pay over time...again to avoid a judgment hurting your future credit.
